I have a MacBook laptop with 2.2 ghz intel core 2 duo with 1gb of memory and a 120gb hdd.

when i was typing in the help pane at the top about the mouse, it came up with a question that interested me that said 'turning keyboard backlighting on and off'.
I followed the instructions and in the instructions, it said to check a box that said backlight the keboard for low-light conditions.

but this option is not there! there is no box to check for that!

why?
