Try resetting your iPod, if you haven't already. If that doesn't work, no problem, just let your iPod stay turned on all night, and the battery will eventually go dead. Then plug it back in to your computer and let it charge for as long as you can before you leave. Then, after you eject the iPod from your computer, try turning your iPod on again. That should do it.
