Default Wireless help for Mac!?

Hi. I don't know very much about Macs, but I want to buy my husband a wireless card for Valentine's Day, and I don't know how to pick it out. He has an Apple (snow) I-book 800, a G3. I was browsing their site, and it mentions something about an AirPort card. Is this a wireless card? Please help.
Thanks, but this one actually did not come with wireless. We bought it refurbished and did not have it when we got it.

Default

This laptop comes with a preinstalled Airport/wireless card. Airport is just the name Apple uses for wireless. If he goes under the network menu in preferences you will be able to see if the Airport is turned on. Also on the top right of the top menu bar you should see a symbol that looks like a phone signal. If you click on that you will be able to turn wireless on or off and connect to any available networks.
