Default Should i secure (with 128bit key) or unsecure (but with MAC restrictions) my

wireless network.? i have a 802.11g broadband router, (eircom's customized netopia router) its currently set up to wep manual with a 128bit key. if i want to add laptops to the network, i need to issue the key. but windows vista is a bit complicated, you have to manualy set up the connection and set the key settings, otherthen windows asking you for the key to the secure network. hassle.
i was thinking of unsecuring the router, key wise, but enabling the MAC authorization. only computers with the MAC address in a whitelist can access. Less hassle to setup new computers?

I'm looking for a second opionion, to keep with the key method or reduce it to MAC authorization only.
