Default Can I take the processor out of my imac and put it on my ASUS board for a...

...windows P.C I am building? Alright, I have a 24" Imac

Model Name:iMac
Model Identifier:iMac10,1
Processor Name:Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed:3.06 GHz
Number Of Processors:1
Total Number Of Cores:2
L2 Cache:3 MB
Memory:4 GB
Bus Speed:1.07 GHz
Boot ROM Version:IM101.00CC.B00
SMC Version (system):1.52f9

I want to take this processor and place it on an ASUS motherboard that supports intel Core 2 Duo, LGA 775 --- Are the intel processors for MAC's any different than the ones you buy off the shelf? Are they programmed any different? Will it make a difference to take the same socket 1.8ghz and swap it with the MAC's 3.06 ghz?! The entire motherboard is the same spec's 0_0 -- DDR2 1066 mhz front side bus, every single thing is the same. Hopefully someone can answer me.
