Powerful 21.5" iMac vs. Not-As-Powerful 27" iMac?
I'm planning on buying an iMac. Here is what I could get:
Mac: 21.5" iMac 27" iMac
CPU: 2.7Ghz i5 2.7Ghz i5
RAM: 4GB (will get 8GB later for 12GB total) 4GB (will get 8GB later for 12GB total)
HDD: 1TB 1TB
GPU: 6770M 512MB 6770M 512MB
$$$: $1399 $1599
Of course, I will get an Apple wireless keyboard and mouse to go with them. So, I guess the real question is, is the extra 5.5" worth the extra $200?
Yes, I know I can get a less powerful PC for a lesser price. But the fact is is that I will be doing video editing, audio editing, and 3D rendering with this machine. Therefore, I kind of need a Mac.
