I would like to ask a question to all imac and macbook users out there.
im a first time apple computer user, i have built and used PC's all my life, so i have no experience on macs.

i am comparing the base line 21.5" imac and the base line 13" macbook.

heres why i consider apple computers.
1. I want to try something new either than windows or PC
2. Need something that is portable or minimalistic, i have a little room.
3. Will be using the garageband software to record guitar.
4. Will be out of home for 8-9 hours daily. Uni aka College :s
5. Reliability. (Keen on OS X = No virus!!)

problem is, $$$........ money.
Where i live, you get more for the 21.5" imac than compared to the 13" macbook pro at the same amount of money. However, imac is not portable, and will be sitting at home most of the time without it being used. Macbook pro portable, but lower specs than what you pay to get the imac. Plus i am a little worried about the hardware of macbook, battery life, fragility (compred to imac), performance and overheating! If i was going to get Macbook pro, it must have the ability to be a desktop replacement. will be willing to wait for core i5 macbook pros.

what views do mac users hold? seeming as you use macs... Its this thing that apple computers have that I cannot look away...can't explain LOL XD
