I have a Compaq Presario and it is a piece of sh!t. I've been saving money for the past couple of months for a Macbook but now that I'm actually gettin' ready to buy it I figured out that I have enough for a Macbook Pro. I'm not trying to spend a ton of money that I don't need so here is my dilemma.

I use my computer for Facebook, Email, iTunes and Emulators. I have over 8 gigs of music on my iTunes library. Does that get saved to the hard drive or to the memory? or is that the same thing?

I was lookin' at the Tech Specs for the Macbook and it said it came with a 500 gig hard drive and 3 gig memory. So would this work for me or do I need something different?
