i have a steady full time job.. i make a few bucks above minimum wage in California, and also attend community college. i just wanted some opinions, as i don't know anyone who owns any kind of stock in anything, haha.

i have about 3000 dollars i either want to invest in apple stock or use towards buying a macbook pro.
oh, and i'd probably use etrade since they let you trade free for 60 days if you open an acccount with over 2000 dollars.
