I just got my Macbook Pro 5 days ago, and it's internet has been slow, as slow as my old Acer laptop and PC! For a while I thought it was Safari, but I downloaded Google Chrome, the supposed "fastest browser in the world", and it was just as bad, if not worse.
When I tried to download the browser, it took an hour. Also, when I tried to download World of Warcraft, it went really slow, and then stopped altogether. Since this is obviously all connected to the internet (slow internet, slow download from internet), could it be my internet connection? (I use Bigpond, by the way. I also use it for my other 2 PC's, which are just as slow.)
It stumps me as it is brand new
. Can anyone help? Will a different browser help? Is there any tricks to make it faster? I'm desperate guys
