How to convince parents to buy MacBook pro 15"?
So here's the deal. I am about to graduate from high school in a couple weeks, and as a graduation gift, they agreed to buy me a laptop. My choice is the Apple Macbook Pro. The 13" model is good, but the 15" has a bigger screen, bigger harddrive, faster processor, and much better graphics. Unfortunately, it costs $400 more than the 13 inch. Seeing as I will be using it to edit video and pictures a lot, I think it's worth it. We have talked about what computer I wanted, and my mom told me that I don't need the 15". But this is why I think it is definitely justified. I have recieved a scholarship for $7500 a year for 4 years, saving them $30000. Now they were going to pay for my college regardless of whether I recieved a scholarship or not. Due to MY hard work and MY effort, I saved them $30000. Suddenly that extra $400 doesn't seem that bad. So tell me the truth, do I sound like a greedy child, or is my reasoning sound? The last thing I want is to be called selfish.
