Default Choosing the right MacBook Pro?

Hello. I'm looking to buy my first Apple computer after using Microsoft for years. I need some help with choosing what features to include in my new MacBook Pro. Ignore the prices right now, I just need to make sure I have everything I need.

What I need my MacBook Pro for:
Exceptionally fast internet
Use of all media types
Media editing (Video, Photo, and Music)
School work and Home Office use (like using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, etc.)

I’m sure that I will be getting the 15-inch MacBook Pro, but I need some help understanding some tech specs and some softwares, and whether or not I should include them or not.

Please explain what the following are, what the difference is between them, and finally help me choose which is best for me:
Processors (i5 and i7)?
GHz (2.4, 2.53, and 2.66)
RAM (4GB or 8GB)
Hard Drive (Sizes and whether or not to get a solid state drive)
Display (Glossy, Hi-Res Glossy, and Hi-Res Antiglare)
Printers

Also, explain what the following programs/software are and help me decide whether I need to get it pre-installed:
iWork
Microsoft Office for Mac
Aperture 3
Final Cut Express 4
Logic Express 9
FileMaker (Bento 3 and/or FileMaker Pro 11)
MobileMe

Any other tips or help you might have, I’d love to hear about it. Also you may e-mail me at Lcox816@yahoo.com. Thank you very much for the time.
