I bought this MacBook Pro used off of eBay. The previous owner was a developer and had some odd applications and weird settings. I tried restoring it by shutting it off and holding C like I was prompted to by someone from Apple. When I did so I could tell the CD drive was starting to spin but then it suddenly stopped. It wouldn't stop doing that so I had to shut off my MacBook Pro and turn it on normally. When I open up the disk from the desktop and run it it says "Mac OS X cannot be installed on this computer." This model is the Mid 2008 one (a uni-body). Any suggestions?
