I am looking into getting a new Macbook pro and was ready to purchase one but when I googled information, I noticed there are a lot of rumors that there is a new macbook pro that may be out soon. I don't know a lot about how often or how Apple usually goes about releasing updated versions. Are the rumors substantial? Should I hold off a bit? Is it time for a new version to be released?

I know no one knows an official answer that will share it but, any suggestions from past experiences or trends in Apple releases would be helpful.

Also, if a new Macbook Pro is released, would you expect the cost to be about the same or higher than current models (now)?

Are there usually a lot of bugs in new operating systems?
