My MacBook Pro 15" 2.66 GHz only charges when battery is completely drained
and fans rev.? I spilled water on my MacBook Pro's keyboard 3 months ago. For a 2 months in charged and ran great with no problems but one day it ran out of battery hard and now I have to turn on and with it ran out of battery, while the computer recognizes no battery and the fans rev at very high speeds and it charges (still turns green after full) until I pull the plug and when you put it back in, it doesn't charge, I am I damaging the computer or is this okay. I got a estimate for $1,000 to fix the logic mother board but is this really the logic board fault, and does the logic board control the charging going on.
So, I felt I needed to add this. It won't charge in between cycles of fully charged and drained. But the stores I've taken it to have said that in general it should allow for power to go straight to the logic board* and let the computer run, but again, it would turn any color. Though sometimes if you put in a charger it will 1) dimly light up orange and they slowly fad in the matter of 2 minutes or 2)there will be a giant spark of electricity between the computer and the charger.
