I've had my MacBook Pro OXS 10.4.11 for four years, and have never had any problems. I frequently back up my work to a external storage device, so I have more free space and so it runs faster. Over the past week, my laptop has been going crazy! Either use the mouse or the pad, it does the same thing! It will randomly close the screen, select all the text on the screen, delete what I'm writing, open a folder, or screen grab. It's like it's ghost laptop! It usually does this when it's asleep, then I get back on it, or just randomly, or when I start it up. But it's not always. It's working fine now. What could it be? There's no real time when it does it. I've tried opening a few programs at a time, and it's fine. Sometimes it goes crazy, sometimes not. Or it could even go crazy when I have one program up. What could it be? A virus? Time to get a new Mac? Please help! Thanks so much!
