Here's a quick and easy way:

Go to System Preferences --

Click "Accounts" (or Users depending on the version of Mac OS you are running)

Click on "Login Options" (if you are unable to click it, you first need to click the padlock and enter in your password)

Click the checkbox next to "Enable Fast User Switching"

-----

Then close out of System Preferences (save changes if it asks you to), and you should be able to see your username name in the upper-right corner of the screen, just to the left of the magnifying glass (spotlight).

Click on your username and choose "Login Window".

Shazaam! : )

That should do it.

You need to have more than one account for it come up, otherwise, it's not going to come up.
