Default Why won't Skype sign in on new MacBook Pro?
I've just got a brand new MacBook pro and I installed skype. The new 5.0 version would not sign in so I tried the older versions but still no luck. I am currently using the 2.7 version, but all I get is an error saying: Failed to sign in: unable to connect to server.

Is this a firewall problem, or something else?
