Default How much would my used 17" Macbook Pro go for if sold today?

I have many mac computers and I am looking to sell one of them. I have a 17" Macbook Pro. It has a 2.4ghz processor and 4GB of DDR2 ram. The screen is high resolution and goes up to a 1920 x 1200 setting. I would be selling it without a hard-drive or battery. I researched and you could replace both for fairly cheap. The only real issue with this computer is I believe the logic board is messed up and going. There is no more sound and it can't connect to the internet via wireless connection (says "No airport card installed"). However, this computer does connect to the internet through a wired connection (plugging the ethernet directly into it). Computer still runs like it's brand new. Programs load exceptionally fast and the only reason I am not investing the time and money to fix it is because I recently purchased a 15" unibody MBP and I suppose this computer just fell off my radar. I looked on the internet and there are many sites that offer logic boards for this computer for as low as $800.00 (if you send in the old logic board as a trade which will be included with this computer). Anyone with some computer knowledge could easily fix this computer and it's actually a fun little project. Brand new, I purchased this computer for around $3,500.00 due to hardware upgrades. I understand that the worth of this computer depreciates from age and certainly due to what needs to be fixed on it, but I was curious how much I should sell this laptop for. I see computers on ebay in HORRIBLE exterior condition with less than half of the specs I have selling for over $1,200.00. In my mind, I start at around $2,800.00. I take off $800.00 for the logic board and $500.00 or so for the battery and HD. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks a lot and sorry this is so long.

Just a little FYI, the case has no discoloration, stains, or anything damaged. Thanks again.
I was just searching and there are websites that offer the exchange program for far cheaper. This website offers a brand new logic board for $650.00 when you send in the old one (http://www.applepalace.com/apple-mac/apple-parts/apple-parts-by-category/logic-boards/macbook-pro-logic-boards/17-inch-macbook-pro-2.4-ghz-core-2-duo-logic-board-661-4364.asp). Still don't know how much to price this for a sale. Let me know, thanks.
