I was walking by the river and i found an iphone. It looks brand new except for the cracked screen and theres some sand on it. I'm not sure if theres water damage to it or not, i dont think there is. My friend told me to take it to a cell phone repair shop but idk, it turned on a few times and said deactivated then something about itunes across the screen then it shut off again. (didnt get to read all of it) but it does turn on sometimes. Is it worth keeping and taking to a cell phone repair shop?
I read some other questions about people who found iphones, and they all said to return it but it wont let me in to even see who i could return it to. It's deactivated. So i'm not sure what to do with it.
My mom and my bf are telling me to keep it and see if it can be fixed to use as my own phone. I feel bad though because it IS or was someones phone. When it does turn on all that comes up is emergency calls so i can only call 911 i cant look at the phone itself or anything. I think the LDC needs to be replaced on it and of course the screen.
