After the latest update (10.5? My iTunes is up to date) my apple T.V. has not been present under devices. It is a generation 1 atv and has worked (just worked, never well) on the same T.V and. on the same network for forever, always being read by iTunes. The atv will connect to the internet, but when I prompt it with syncing or streaming to my iTunes library it gives me an unusable code to enter in to access it: the device, the atv, doesn't even show up as an option on iTunes. I am unsure of how to fix this. I have tried my house's wireless, the ethernet cable (which had always worked), factory reset, restarting iTunes, turning the atv off and on, restarting the computer (this has been going on since the last update), disabling the firewall... I'm not sure what to do. Windows vista on a desktop with itunes (latest) and atv gen. 1. Please give me some suggestions: I checked all of the ones that came up in google and none worked or didn't apply (many were mac only solutions). <3 Thanks
