Default I need help connecting an old Mac running OS 9.2 to the Internet.?

I used to be able to connect but messed with some settings in order to use file sharing. Now I don't care about file sharing and just want to get on the Internet. Can someone walk me through what I need to do?
I've got Apple Talk selected to connect via Ethernet. And AppleTalk is Active in my Chooser. TCP/IP control panel connects via AppleTalk using MacIP Manually, IP Address is empty. I tried one of my router IP addresses but it didn't work. No clue what I'm doing anymore on this old girl.
