I have a motorola razr phone which came with a lead to attach it to a USB port. I want to get photos off the phone and onto an Apple Mac but nothing happens when I plug the phone in.
I'd expect something to appear on screen but there's nothing. Am I doing something wrong?
almost all USB links for mobiles are designed to be used on Windows only as the drivers are proprietary and only written for Windows. (an often only one version of windows - many will not work on Vista for example)
using Bluetooth uses open drivers and can send and receive on any platform.
