Hi,

Ive decided id like to learn design pacakge however i am unsure which one is best for what i need can anyone help, i will be looking to design mainly houses and interior design, maybe cars and boats also.

however i do not need any of these designs animated. im a Mac user and i have heard the best software for this is either Maya or Autocad, however im confused to what the difference between the two are.

Id like to be able to make as true to life designs as possible with the highest quality featuring textures and lighting and such.

please see an example of the results im looking to achieve in the long run
