Hello! So, I'm a photography major and last year (my junior year) it was required that we all have photoshop. So, of course I rushed to my school store and bought the student version - Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Standard. But soon after I figured that my pc was getting pretty ghetto so I should switch it to a mac. My school store, contrary to what they said on the phone, is now telling me that I can't switch my (unopened and unused) windows creative suite to a mac version because Adobe has updated to 5.5. I called Adobe customer support and I got switched to 4 different people 2 saying that switching it to a mac version would be no problem- I would just have to pay shipping and handling- and the other 2 saying that I would just need to pay another 300 for the 5.5 mac version and I would just have to throw my current one away. It doesn't really seem right, seen as how I've already paid the 300 for my current unused unopened version and just because they decided to change the "5" to a friggen "5.5" I wouldn't be able to get an upgrade which otherwise would be more or less simple. I'm very confused! If any of you guys/ photoshop buffs/ really smart people could help me out with this and tell me if there's really anything that I could do about it that would be amazing

Thanks!
-Sorry about the novel. I'm pretty worked up.
