Okay, so for Christmas, my best friend gave me her mom's last iPhone. Her mom's work gives the employees the newest iPhone every time it comes out, so I now have an iPhone 4. I want to get a plan on it, but apparently I can't if it's under her account. My dad wants to get me a plan, but I don't even want that huge data plan. My friend says it would be easy to fix this if it had been an AT&T phone, with a SIM, but this is Verizon. I am terrified to jailbreak and unlock the phone because I see all sorts of stuff about screwing up the damn thing and the "brick" thing :S I don't really understand the instructions and most of the jailbreaking programs I have seen cost money, something I don't have... I know I probably sound like an IDIOT to anyone who understands computers and cell phones and iStuff... but hey, I am! So I'd be very appreciative if someone would give me a hand here...
