Default Restoring a Jailbroken Iphone?

what can i do to restore my jailbroken iphone (1.1.3) back to normal......i was thinking

1) just updating to 1.1.4 using itunes
or
2) Clickin Restore in itunes but i dont want to lose all my contacts...

so any ideas?

how about writing down ur contacts or putting ur contacts on a file on ur computer and then pasteing them to ur contact list just a idea

Save all your contacts, information, on your computer, and then click restore. If you update to 1.1.4 your iphone will likely be bricked (not work). If you have a mac you can save all your contacts to the Address Book application. Just try to figure out a way to save your contacts to your computer. Restoring is what you would have to do.
