Default HELP!!!!!!! why wont my ipod let me do anything?

i have an ipod nano 3rd generation
it's stuck on the main menu,i can scroll up and down,i can click on things but it wot take me to them. I click on music....im still at the menu,i click o movies.....im still at the menu
and it wont shut of
my computer is still abel to find it and sync it just fine but it still doesn't work on its own
when i bought it at best buy i got this thing called ipod insurance about 5 months ago i think,how exactly does that work? or is their something else i could do without having to take it to be fixed or get a new one? HELP!!!!

you can reset it...
hold the center button and the menu button for a few seconds.
or you can restore it.... plug it into your computer and when itunes pops uo hit the restore button.
or it those dont work you can just take it back to the apple store and it is still under warranty so they will give you a new one

My ipod glitches too. Hold the middle button and the
menubutton untill you see an apple symbol on the screen.

u need to use the insurance. what that does is you send in your i pod to where u got it from and they send you a new one.

you can reboot it by holding the menu and up or down ( i think one of them) button together at the same time until it turns off. then, wait for the apple to pop up and ur ipod should be 'refreshed'. OR

you can go ask on the yahoo/google search bar. i usually always get my answers from there.

There us 3 things you can do.
1st press and hold the center and play/pause button until an apple appears on the screen
2nd if that does not work take it to best buy and ask them what the ipod insurance cover and see if they can fix it for free under the insurance
OR
you can take it to the apple store and have them fix it
3rd if none of that works you may have to buy a new one
