The Iphone update 4.2 won't work for me - help?
I've been trying to update my Iphone with the newest 4.2 update for WEEKS - I successfully downloaded the update, but for some reason it won't ever finish the "backing up" process. The green update bar moved less than 1/16 of an inch over a period of a few hours. It just won't go any further.
I've made sure my firewall isn't preventing anything - I've downloaded the latest version of Itunes - nothing's helping. I've read a million discussion boards and the things that are helping them aren't working for me.
My laptop is an HP with Windows Vista and I have the older 3G Iphone, if that helps.
Any suggestions?
