you probably need to export it as a lower video resolution video so the file will be smaller. Youtube will only accept videos that are under 100 mb or 10 minutes. It may also bee that it's too long. If you want to lower the resolution, click share and then click expert settings, set the quality of everything to where the estimated file size is under 100 mb. that should work. One more thing, all of that was for iMovie 6, if you have imovie 07 or 08, then there's a share button where you can export the movie directly from imovie onto youtube. to do this click on share, and then click youtube.
