Mac Forums

I am a teacher and want to take a bunch of pictures from throughout the year, put them to music and make them into a slideshow. I would like to be able to add text, insert small video clips, etc. What is a free and easy software program that will let me do this? I have a Mac. I think that there is a program that is part of iLife that will let me do it but I am not sure?? or with iWork? Thanks for your help!!

Apples come full of media software. Use iMovie to do so,or iPhoto, and GarageBand for the music. You could download some third party program such as Microsoft Powerpoint which has been ripped from a non Mac but I woudn't. Too much of a hassle. Have fun experimenting with the programs

i would think that iphoto would help create a slideshow for the pictures... and there must be some software in ilife go and look at all the software available in ilfe and i work....
