Ive got some videos on DV on a panasonic ( i think)
camcorder, and i'm lost as to how to get them onto my mac.
can anybody help me?
and please don't just post links.
i'd like some actual instructions.

usb cords don't work for video. you need to use a firewire cord (probably 4 pin to 6 pin). turn the camcorder to player and hook up the firewire (ieee 1394) and open imovie of final cut express - whatever you're using. "capture" what footage you want to use .
