Default How can I do a video chat between mac with ichat and a pc with MSN live 8.5?

How can I make these two systems compatible?
We tried AIM, but it fails. The Mac version of MSN is too old.

Video chat should work if your friend uses AIM and you use iChat. If not, Apple will be releasing OS X 10.5.2 soon which might address such an issue. If you want to do video chat via MSN, you can use aMSN, which is a clone of the current Windows MSN, but made for the Mac. Microsoft discontinued MSN Messenger for the Mac a while ago, so I wouldn't even bother with it. When you're not using MSN for video chat, you can use Adium for AIM/Y!/MSN, and more.

You have a yahoo account to post here, you can try yahoo with other yahoo accounts, it also chats with MSN but may not do video with MSN just with other yahoo accounts.

Or check your MSN to see if you can update it.
