Default Can I transfer my itunes library from one laptop to another?

I have recently purchased a new laptop and now that I have connected my ipod to it, it asks me wether I wish to sync my ipod with my new laptop. Now i have 120 albums and a few tv programmes that I need to put onto my new laptop is there any easier way than putting everything onto many discs and loading it onto my new machine? Thanks

Its possible but very difficult. If you go onto the apple website and do a support for this, than it will tell you. The same thing happened with me, and i ended up loosing 5000 songs and 7 movies.
