Default iTunes Audiobooks folder: How can I make a single file or folder for the hundreds...

...of unorganized track files? I have uploaded my audiobooks on cd into itunes, and changed their setting in itunes 8 so that they show up under the Audiobooks tab, but now they are just hundreds of unorganized track names, and in my computer it shows the disc number at least, but not in my ipod. Is there a way to put my audiobooks into a single file? Like in music i would click: Music>Artist>The Fray> then all the track names would show up. Can i make it similar in audiobooks: Audiobooks>(list of all the Author)> Select an author and all the tracks for that audiobook comes up? Anyone know a way to do this other then making playlists?
