I've been having troubles syncing my new iPod Touch in iTunes on my computer. It syncs well with other computers so I have pretty much narrowed it down to it being my computer's fault.
My iPod and iTunes both work fine with no problems but when I plug in my iPod via the USB 2.0 port, everything goes wacko. The processes AppleMobileDeviceService.exe and csrss.exe both start acting up. AppleMobileDeviceService.exe takes up about 45-65% of the computer usage and csrss.exe takes up about 15-30% usage. Now, when the iPod tries to sync....it syncs about 1 song every 1-2 minutes. Do the math...that's ridiculous. So, I have been looking on the internet for fixes, similar problems, and everything else and I still have yet to find someone with my same problem....I don't know why I'm so unlucky. I have already restored my iPod like 10-15 times....I have reinstalled iTunes 3 times....I have deleted various files and changes certain settings, and still no luck.....I have created a new Windows user name and tried to sync it on there....still no luck. I have done countless scans and have found a couple trojans and a virus or two and deleted those....and yet again, still no luck. I really need help because I have a useless $400 iPod sitting around right now that I want to use. Thanks in advance if you can help! |
