Hey,
I have an Ipod Nano, 4G - with about 300 songs on it! I also had Itunes with about 700 songs on it! Here is my question, My PC that had My Itunes On it died... Now, I am good with PC's so I had it backed up on to an External HD! I need some help though, cause Itunes has a new version... is there any way to download a previous Version of Itunes? Anything you guys know that would help me is greatly appreciated! Thanks for the Help guys! Here is the main PROBLEM! My Ipod does not have Itunes 8 installed, and if I install the New Itunes It says "Ipop cannot sync to itunes 8.....blah, blah, blah... Man, Itunses / Ipod is super Confusing! |

i don't know any specifically, but there are certain ways to download things without updated patches. the new itunes is really nice tho, and if you had files backed up then they should work. id try loading the new itunes and then try putting your old itunes files manually into the new itunes.

there probably is and i recommend going to iLounge.com and seeing if they have any advice there. the new version of iTunes shoudl work just fine with you backed library. all you have to do is either import the folder or click and drag as you did in the previous version of iTunes. the version of the software should not interfere at all with what you want to do. if you just don't like the look of the new version you can revert to the old version look by going to view in the upper tool bar of iTunes!! nice option!
